Paul Frey moved to Brookfield in 1987 when he accepted a position with the Brookfield Police Department as a Patrol Officer. He was raised on a small farm in Trenton, MO. He is a 1983 graduate of Trenton High School and attended what is now NCMC College for two years. He had approximately 20 years’ experience in Law Enforcement with the Brookfield Police Department and the Linn County Sheriff’s Department. He also was the Store Manager of Casey’s General Store located at 401 South Main in Brookfield for approximately 6 years.
His interests include hunting, coaching, and umpiring high school/middle school baseball and softball for MSHSAA (Missouri State High School Activities Association). He currently is the Assistant Transportation Director for Brookfield R-3 School District, an Assistant Track Coach for the school track teams, and a volunteer fireman for the Brookfield Fire Department.
Paul and his wife Tina have lived and raised their two daughters, Kelsie and Alesa here in Brookfield. Both daughters graduated college and are raising families in Kansas.
