The 9th Judicial Circuit Juvenile Office is introducing a new educational resource designed to help young people become safer, more confident drivers. The VDI Driving Simulator provides a realistic, interactive driving experience that allows students to practice making safe decisions behind the wheel without the risks of real-world traffic.
The simulator was added to promote safe driving choices and reduce risky behaviors that often lead to crashes. Participants experience a variety of driving situations while learning how to recognize hazards, respond appropriately, and understand the consequences of distracted or unsafe driving.
The program is available to youth ages 12 and older who live within the 9th Judicial Circuit. While the simulator is intended for anyone interested in improving their driving awareness, it is especially beneficial for teens who are preparing to drive or have recently obtained their learner’s permit or driver’s license.
Visit the Juvenile Office
Parents or guardians may schedule an appointment for their child to use the driving simulator at the Juvenile Office in Linneus, Missouri. Individual appointments generally last one to two hours, giving participants ample time to experience different driving scenarios and receive valuable instruction.
Bringing the Simulator to Your Organization
The VDI Driving Simulator isn’t limited to the Juvenile Office. Schools, youth groups, and other organizations throughout the 9th Judicial Circuit can arrange to have the simulator brought directly to their location.
This mobile option allows multiple students to participate, making it an excellent educational opportunity for classrooms, school events, driver’s education programs, community organizations, and youth groups.
