Linn County Youth Coalition Launches Community Hygiene Drive to Benefit Emily’s Hope Chest

The Linn County Youth Coalition is inviting the community to help make a difference by donating essential hygiene products during its Community Hygiene Drive, taking place from August 1 through September 1.

Donations will benefit Emily’s Hope Chest, a local resource that helps provide personal care items to individuals and families in need throughout the community. Access to basic hygiene products can have a significant impact on a person’s health, confidence, and overall well-being. By contributing, community members can help ensure that everyone has access to these everyday necessities.

The Youth Coalition is requesting full-size hygiene items, including products such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, and other personal care essentials.

Donations may be dropped off at the Linn County Health Department, located at 635 South Main Street, Brookfield, MO 64628, during regular collection hours of Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Whether you donate one item or several, every contribution helps support neighbors in need and demonstrates the caring spirit of our community. The Linn County Youth Coalition encourages residents, businesses, churches, civic groups, and organizations to participate and help stock Emily’s Hope Chest with much-needed hygiene supplies.

For those wishing to give back, this is a simple way to make a meaningful difference in the lives of other.
