Effective immediately, all grave opening requests must be submitted directly to the City of Brookfield.

This applies to all funeral homes and families arranging services at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Updated Procedure:

1. Funeral homes must contact the City to request a grave opening.
2. The City will verify cemetery records and coordinate services with the contracted provider.
3. Billing for grave openings will be issued by the City in accordance with the approved cemetery fee schedule.
4. Funeral homes and families should not contact any contractor directly for grave opening services.

This update ensures proper recordkeeping, improved communication, and compliance with municipal standards.
